I have not carried a wallet on my person in over seven years. Near the end of college I had accumulated so many pieces of plastic (store discount cards, ID's, licenses, etc.) that it hurt to sit. I’m not joking--I would literally pull out my wallet and set it on the table anytime I sat down. I quickly realized that I only used a couple of the cards with any sort of frequency.
And like a blessing from heaven, I received a money clip as a graduation present. Since I don’t carry cash, I quickly realized that there are only three things I need to keep in my money clip: My driver’s license, debit card, and Kroger Plus card. Everything else can live in the glove box.
